Tata Motors is expected to launch 2 new car models in India and this is reported by multiple leaks. One of the models is expected to be an EV model. It is rumoured that one of the models will be a facelifted Altroz. The Altroz hatchback was unveiled way back in November 2019.
The facelift Altroz was spotted while being tested on public roads. The images show that there is a design change on front bumper, wheels and lights. The facelifted Tata Altroz offers edgier front bumper along with LED rear lamps. The uplifted model will also offer a five-spoke alloy wheel. The interior of the car is expected to offer some updated features. Mechanically, there are no changes in the engine of the car.
On the other hand, the electric car is expected to be a Tata Harrier.ev. While the Harrier is a FWD model, the electric Harrier is expected to be rear-based model. The model is expected to be offered in RWD and AWD variants. The AWD variant of the SUV is likely to offer 500 Nm of torque. The SUV will offer dual-motor with AWD system. There will be two motors and each axle will have a single motor.
The SUV is likely to offer a 75 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that also gets fast charging capability. There will also be a smaller battery unit for those who want an entry level variant of the EV. We can expect some features from Curvv EV to be present on the Tata Harrier EV.
