Tamil Nadu: Veteran political leader Nallakannu (100) was admitted to the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital in Chennai last night (February 1).

Nallakannu was hospitalized after experiencing difficulty breathing. Doctors are currently treating him.

The senior leader of the Communist Party of India, who had been resting at home due to old age, had fallen and sustained injuries on August 22 of last year. At that time, he was also experiencing difficulty breathing and received intensive treatment with the help of a ventilator at the Rajiv Gandhi Hospital in Chennai.

Subsequently, he was repeatedly admitted to the hospital due to recurring breathing difficulties and returned home after treatment.

In this situation, he was admitted to the Rajiv Gandhi Hospital again on Sunday night after experiencing breathing difficulties once more.

Nallakannu is being treated under the supervision of a team of senior doctors.
