Simdega: A major road accident took place in Simdega on Saturday. The incident took place near Maa Gayatri Fuel Center located on NH 143 in Kolebira police station area. Where a trailer hit a bike rider fiercely. Due to which two people riding the bike died, while one person was seriously injured. They were going to attend a funeral on a bike. According to the information received regarding the incident, they were going to attend someone’s funeral in Nava Toli of Kolebira police station area of Simdega on a bike. During this, as soon as they turned to get petrol at Maa Gayatri Fuel Center on the way, a trailer coming at a high speed from the opposite direction hit the bike rider directly. Due to which two people riding the bike died on the spot. While one person was seriously injured.
After this accident, hundreds of villagers gathered on the spot. The dead have not been identified yet. The villagers immediately informed the police about this. After getting the information, the police immediately reached the spot and sent the injured person to Sadar Hospital for better treatment. At the same time, the body was taken into custody and sent for post-mortem. Shortly after this, the said trailer was also seized. At present, the police has started further action. Till the time of writing the news, the dead have not been identified but the police is trying to identify them with the help of the villagers.
