Religion Spirituality: Shri Radha Rani had given this curse to Jagannath temple

According to the Panchang, the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath comes out with great enthusiasm on the second day of Shukla Paksha of Ashadh month. This journey is also known as Gundicha Yatra and Rath Mahotsav. In the year 2024, Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra is starting from 07 July. In Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra, people go to Gundicha Nagar by chanting and kirtan. Lord Jagannath, brother Lord Balabhadra and sister Devi Subhadra ji are seated in Jagannath Puri temple. Every year the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath is taken out. This journey is more famous in the country and abroad. It is attended by a large number of crowds. It is believed that unmarried couples should not visit Lord Jagannath Temple. According to legend, once Sri Radha Rani thought of visiting the Jagannath temple.

When she was entering the temple, her priest stopped her. After this, when the priest was asked about it, he said that you are the girlfriend of Shri Krishna and are not even married. For this reason, the wife of Lord Shri Krishna was not allowed to enter the temple, so you are also not allowed to enter the temple. For this reason, Radha Rani got angry with this statement of the priest. After this, Radha Rani performed Shradh to Jagannath Temple that if an unmarried couple enters the temple together in life, then they will never get the love of a lover or girlfriend. According to the Panchang, the second date of Shukla Paksha of Ashadh month will start. It will be on July 07, 2024 at 04:26 am. At the same time, it will end on July 08, 2024 at 04:59 am.

In such a situation, the Jagannath Rath Yatra is starting from July 07. 3 chariots are made for the journey. In these chariots, Lord Jagannath, brother Balabhadra and sister Subhadra go to their aunt’s house on separate chariots. They return after resting there for a few days. It is said that these chariots have been made with the help of the bark of Neem trees. The most special thing is that no metal and nails are used to make these chariots. According to religious beliefs, the devotee who pulls the chariot of Lord Jagannath’s sister Subhadra and brother Balabhadra gets the blessings of happiness and prosperity and gets freedom from all the obstacles in life. By participating in the Rath Yatra, man attains salvation.
