Redmi has announced two new devices in its home market i.e. China. The manufacturer has launched Redmi K80 Ultra and Redmi K Pad. While the former is the flagship killer, the latter one is a compact tablet for everyday use.
Redmi K80 Ultra
The Redmi K80 Ultra fits in between K80 and K80 pro devices. It packs a 6.83-inch OLED screen that offers 1280p+ resolution along with 144Hz refresh rate. The peak brightness is 3200 nits. MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ SoC powers the device and it can be configured with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.
When it comes to camera, the device offers 50MP primary camera with 1/1.55” OV Light Fusion 800 sensor along with 8MP ultrawide lens (OV08F). The front camera is a 20MP camera and is present in a punch-hole present in the screen.
The device offers IP68 water and dust resistant design. There is HyperOS 2 based Android 15 out of the box. A massive 7410mAh silicon carbon battery along with 100W wired charging is offered on the device. Starting price of the device is CNY 2599 (approx. Rs 31,000) for the 12GB + 256GB configuration.
Redmi K Pad
Redmi K Pad is compact in size and gets a display of 8.8-inches (3,008 x 1,880px) and 165Hz refresh rate. The aspect ratio is 16:10 while the thickness is 6.46mm. The weight is 336 grams.
MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ SoC powers the device and it can be configured with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. When it comes to camera, the device offers 13MP primary camera along with 8MP front facing camera. The K pad gets a 12050mm2 vapor chamber for checking the heat. It gets 7500mAh battery with 67W wired charging.
The colour options are Deep Black, Spruce Green, and Smoky Purple. Starting price of the device is CNY 2799 (approx. Rs 33,388) for the 12GB + 256GB configuration.
