Senior Superintendent of Police Prashant Aggarwal has given necessary guidelines to all the police gazetted officers of Raipur Police, including station in-charges, in-charge anti-crime and cyber units, to detect and effectively curb the black drug trade and to take action against them. . On which all the police gazetted officers, station in-charges and the team of anti-crime and cyber units are collecting information regarding drug dealers by employing informers, patrolling and collecting information. In this context, information was received that ganja was being sold by keeping it in a cart near RKC located under Azad Chowk police station area.
On which Additional Superintendent of Police West Jai Prakash Carpenter, City Superintendent of Police Azad Chowk Shri Mayank Gurjar (I.P.S.) verified the information and directed Police Station Incharge Azad Chowk to catch the accused red handed with ganja. On which, under the direction of senior officers and under the leadership of police station in-charge Azad Chowk, a team of police station Azad Chowk raided the said place told by the informer and arrested one person. During interrogation of the person, his name was Abdul Salim, father Majeet, age 44 years. Said to be Idgah Bhata Raipur. When the police team searched the cart, it was found that there was ganja hidden under the sack. In this regard, due to lack of valid documents, the accused was arrested and a total of 4.75 kg ganja Jumla worth approximately Rs. 45000/- was seized from his possession and crime number 12/24 Section 20B Narcotics Act was registered against the accused in police station Azad Chowk. It was registered and action was taken.
