Raipur. The owner of a spa center in Raipur has been sentenced to life imprisonment in a rape case. The court has sentenced the accused on the basis of evidence and witness statements against him. The accused had given a Scheduled Caste girl a narcotic pill mixed in a cold drink. Then he committed the crime of rape with her. In this case, the rape victim told in the complaint that on July 29, 2023, she had gone to a spa center located at Katora Talab to ask for work. The owner of the center, Abhishek Sahu, talked about giving her a salary of 10 thousand. She agreed to this and started working.
The victim told that on the first day there were customers in the spa center till 10 pm. I got late to leave from there. In such a situation, it was difficult to go home alone late at night. When I told this to Abhishek, he told me not to take tension. After the work was over, Abhishek took the victim to the hotel room on the pretext of roaming and eating and drinking. Meanwhile, he gave her a cold drink. In which some intoxicating pill was mixed. After which the victim fell asleep.
After this, the accused raped the victim. The next morning when the victim regained consciousness, she protested. After this, the accused threatened to harm the victim. After this incident, the victim lodged a complaint in the Scheduled Caste police station. After which the police arrested the accused.
