In this connection, on 25.02.25, the team of Anti-Crime and Cyber ​​​​Unit received information that a person near Karma Chowk in Kamal Vihar under Police Station Tikrapara area has kept banned intoxicating syrup with him and is trying to go somewhere.

On which Additional Superintendent of Police West D.R.Porte, Additional Superintendent of Police Crime Sandeep Mittal, City Superintendent of Police Purani Basti Rajesh Dewangan and Deputy Superintendent of Police Crime Sanjay Singh directed the in-charge Anti Crime and Cyber ​​Unit Police Station in-charge Tikrapara to catch the accused red handed with the syrup. Under the direction of senior officers, a joint team of Anti Crime and Cyber ​​Unit and Police Station Tikrapara went to the said place and after tracing and identifying the person of the description given by the informer, he was caught. During interrogation, the person told his name to be Moin alias Rocky, resident of Tikrapara Raipur. When the team members searched the sack kept with him, banned intoxicating syrup codeine was found in the sack, on which Moin alias Rocky was asked for valid documents regarding keeping and transporting the said banned intoxicating syrup, he was continuously trying to mislead the team members by not presenting any document of any kind. On which the accused Moin alias Rocky was arrested and a total of 70 vials of banned narcotic syrup Codeine having retail value of approximately Rs. 28,000/- were seized from his possession and a case number 155/25 under section 21(c) of the Narcotics Act was registered against the accused at Tikrapara police station and action was taken against the accused.
