Puri: The Snana Yatra of Lord Jagannath and the deities is just a wait of two days. This year the influx of devotees to witness the divine ritual of Lords bathing on Snana Yatra will be more and the preparations are in full swing for it.
Necessary arrangements have been done for the disciplined darshan of the devotees including the traffic restrictions and the security arrangements. This year Puri will be under the surveillance of AI cameras. Over 100 AI Cameras will be installed for the world famous Rath yatra of Puri.
The AI cameras will monitor the security for 24 hours. Along with that barricades will be placed for the smooth darshan. Similarly police forces will be deployed in the Srimandir as well the Puri beach.
A 70 platoon of police force will be deployed for the holy ritual of Snana Yatra on June 11, informed Puri SP Vineet Agrawal.
Traffic advisory:
The Puri Police have issued a traffic advisory for the Snana Yatra 2025 which will be in place from June 10.
Four-wheelers will be barred from the Medical square till Srimandir.
Parking facilities for two-wheelers have been arranged at the market square and the municipality market complex.
Four-wheeler vehicles coming from Bhubaneswar can park at Jail road and Saradhabali.
Those vehicles coming from Konark can park at Saradhabali.
Vehicles from Brahmagiri can park at Jatrika.
Puri SP has requested the devotees and visitors to obey the traffic advisory issued for the Snan Purnima. Puri police have also done arrangements to welcome the devotees. Life guards have been deployed at the beach.
