Often, incidents of snakebite are more common during rainy days. Especially farmers working day and night in the fields of rural areas become victims of poisonous snakes. During this time, if the person who is affected gets the vaccine at the right time, then his life is saved, otherwise he also dies.
If in this situation, a post-mortem is done by the family to confirm the death, then if the death is confirmed to be due to snakebite, then the family will be given a compensation of Rs 4 lakh. The post-mortem report will first be handed over to the Lekhpal Kanungo Tehsildar. After which this report will be sent to the District Magistrate of the district and the District Magistrate will contact the family and provide Rs 4 lakh as compensation to the family of the deceased from the disaster relief fund. The biggest challenge after snakebite is to take the person to the nearest medical center in a short time, where anti-snake venom vaccine is available. However, during this time there are many families who, due to lack of awareness, start practicing black magic, due to which many times the person also dies.
