Punjab: Jathedar Jani Raghubir Singh of Sri Akal Takht Sahib strongly condemned the arrest warrant issued by the police against Rajasthan Sikh leader Bhai Tahjinder Pal Singh Tima. In a written statement issued by the secretariat of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Jani Raghubir Singh said that Bhai Tima did not commit sedition but the Rajasthan government did not follow the law contained in the Constitution to suppress speech. His accuser is trying to file a case to make minorities feel enslaved and his Bhai Tima is facing an arrest warrant despite being granted bail by the Supreme Court. Giani Raghbir Singh said that the entire Sikh community will always remain united against the persecution of Sikhs across the country. He also advised the government to give up its stubbornness, follow Rajdharma and be fair towards minorities. He also directed the Shiromani Committee to take appropriate legal action against the Rajasthan government for harassing Bhai Tima.
