Raipur. President Draupadi Murmu has reached the second convocation of AIIMS Raipur. She awarded gold medals to 10 students of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Raipur and degrees to 514 students. After this, she will come to Raj Bhavan Raipur at 1 pm from there.
President Murmu will go to NIT Raipur from Raj Bhavan at 3.20 pm and will attend the 14th convocation of NIT as the chief guest from 3.30 pm to 4.30 pm. After this, she will go to Purkhauti Muktangan from there and will release the amount of the 9th installment under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana by pressing the remote button in the program organized from 5.15 pm to 6.30 pm. Under this scheme, 70 lakh women of the state are given financial assistance of Rs 1000 per month by the Chhattisgarh government.
President Murmu will inaugurate the Surguja block in Purkhauti Muktangan and will meet and discuss with the people of the tribal community. After this, she will come to Raj Bhavan at 7.05 pm. Her time till 7.30 pm will be reserved for the scheduled program at Raj Bhavan. President Murmu will attend the dinner hosted by Governor Ramen Deka at Raj Bhavan and will stay overnight at Raj Bhavan.
