On Sunday, when the police investigated a junk shop, 70 kg of stolen cable wire was recovered. The case is of Sirgitti Police Station area.

The police is not able to reach the thief gang. The main reason for this is that most of the bikes are being sold in junk shops. Junk shop operators and their employees are cutting the bikes and using them as scrap.
Sirgitti Sirgitti was informed that junk dealer Mohsin Sheikh (31), who lives near Guru Govind Singh Mangal Bhawan, is selling stolen goods. On this, the police team raided his warehouse. Stolen cable was found during the search of the warehouse. When questioned in this regard, the scrap dealer was giving evasive answers. The police have seized 70 kg of cable on the suspicion of it being stolen goods. Documents have been sought from the accused.
