Raipur. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to give many big gifts to the people of the state today i.e. on 26th February. In which he will lay the foundation stone, inaugurate and dedicate to the nation more than 2000 railway infrastructure projects worth about Rs 41,000 crore through video conferencing at 12:30 pm. Emphasis will be laid on the importance of providing world class facilities at railway stations. As a major step under this effort, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for redevelopment of 553 railway stations under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.
Along with this, PM Modi will today lay the foundation stone of 21 railway stations and 83 road over bridges/road under bridges being redeveloped under Amrit Bharat Station at a cost of about Rs 2700 crore in Chhattisgarh. Apart from this, he will also lay the foundation stone of 1500 road over bridges and underpasses and dedicate them to the nation. These road overbridges and underpasses are located in 24 states and union territories. These projects have been constructed at a cost of approximately Rs 21,520 crore. These projects will reduce congestion, increase safety and connectivity and improve the capacity and efficiency of rail travel.
