Phagwara: Case filed against three for snatching bag

Phagwara: Nurmahal police have arrested a suspect and registered a case against two others for snatching mobile phone and certificates from a girl. Station House Officer (SHO) Pankaj Kumar said the arrested suspect has been identified as Deepak, a resident of Pasla village.

Paramjit Singh, a resident of Ade Kali village complained to police that on the afternoon of August 14, he was returning home from Jandiala along with his daughter Tannu, when the suspects snatched mobile phone and a bag containing certificates from his daughter near the canal. The SHO said a case has been registered against the suspect and his two accomplices Lily and Hussan Lal. He said raids are being conducted to arrest the two.
