Bilaspur. Trade Union Sangharsh Samiti Himachal Pradesh has requested the State Government to appoint a permanent Chairman and Secretary of the Board to run the functioning of the Board smoothly. The committee says that about four and a half lakh laborers are registered with the board across the state.
Due to the appointment of President and Secretary, the problems of the working class will also be resolved on priority basis. The government should take appropriate steps for this. At the same time, it has also been warned that if the problems of the working class are not resolved soon, then the path of agitation will be adopted.
On Saturday, Trade Union Sangharsh Committee Himachal Pradesh convenor Bhupendra Singh, co-convenor Roop Singh Thakur and others sent a memorandum to the government through the Deputy Commissioner.
He said that more than a year has passed since the Congress government was formed in the state. But the registration and renewal of construction workers in the Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board and the amount of assistance they receive are closed. The government was informed about this several times. But this work has not started yet. Due to which the working class has now decided to agitate.
For this, a joint struggle committee has been formed. In which various labor organizations are included. He said that on December 12, protest day was celebrated at village and panchayat level across the state.
Memorandums have been sent to the government through the administration on 23 December. It has been requested that the problems of the working class should be resolved within a month. He said that all the problems should be solved within a month.
