Cuttack: Orissa High Court on Monday reportedly issued order in the matter of the junior teachers’ appointment. The Court ordered the State Government to fill up the 6 thousand vacant junior teachers post immediately.
As per reports, in the matter of the junior teacher recruitment in the State, the Orissa High Court on Monday issued order for immediate recruitment of 6,000 teachers to fill the vacant teachers’ posts.
The Court ordered for immediate recruitment on merit basis.
The state government had notified for the recruitment of 20,000 teachers. After the examination, the government had made a final list of 16,000 candidates. Out of this, about 2,000 teachers did not join. As per that notification, it was ordered to fill the vacant posts.
The Court ordered to give opportunity to the candidates on the merit list after passing the examination.
