Odisha: Two arrested with leopard skin

Bhubaneswar (IANS) | Odisha Police has seized the skin of a leopard in Kandhamal district and arrested two people involved in wildlife trade. Officials gave this information on Monday. The Special Task Force (STF) of the state police raided Khajuripada in Kandhamal district on Sunday evening and seized a leopard skin from the possession of two criminals.

EOW officials said that both the accused have been identified as Sujit Rajjadeep and Dhananjay Behera, both residents of Kandhamal district.

He said that the seized leopard skin would be sent to Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun for biological examination.
