Odisha Govt to open 30 Medical Colleges and give massive recruitment in medical and para medical, know details

Bhubaneswar: The H&FW Minister, Mukesh Mahaling has informed that at least 30 Medical colleges will be opened in Odisha in the coming days. He also said that many recruits of medical and para-medical staff will be done. He said this in the ongoing winter session of Odisha Assembly.

In a developmental move for the citizens of Odisha, the state government has announced to recruit five thousand doctors. Along with that three thousand para-medical staff will also be recruited. Additionally 30 Medical Colleges will also be opened in Odisha.

The Odisha government will release a notification for the massive recruitments in the medical sector. The Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Mukesh Mahaling informed this during the proceedings of the Odisha Assembly.

Around 250 to 300 crores were spent for the recently opened 200-bed medical colleges after 2014. The Odisha government is planning to open a Medical college in Bhadrak district in the coming days. The college will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Mohan Majhi, informed the Health Minister, Mukesh Mahaling.
