Keonjhar: During his visit to native district today, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi launched In-Patient Services and Trauma Care facilities at the Dharanidhar Medical College and Hospital and inaugurates modern police station and reserve office.
While launching the trauma care & in-patient services, the Chief Minister highlighted that the robust trauma care system will play a crucial role in saving lives from sudden fatalities.
He also noted that multiple steps are being taken by his government to improve healthcare sector of the state by strengthening the hospital infrastructure and recruiting doctors and healthcare workers. Over 5,000 more doctor posts will be filled up in the near future, the CM announced.
Four new medical colleges will soon be established in Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur, Dhenkanal, and Nabarangpur, with the goal of having medical colleges in every district, he mentioned in his address.
The Chief Minister also inaugurated a state-of-the-art police station and a Reserve Police office in Keonjhar town with the aim to enhance the law enforcement infrastructure in the district. The police station, which has been built at a cost of Rs 3.34 crore, and the reserve police office, constructed with Rs 2.76 crore, are equipped with modern facilities to improve public service delivery.
