No connection between Tevaga flag and Bahujan Samaj flag: Tevaga’s petition in SC

Tamil Nadu : In his reply to the High Court, TAVEKA General Secretary N. Anand said that there is no connection between the Tamil Nadu Vijay Party flag and the Bahujan Samaj Party flag.
Bahujan Samaj Party Tamil Nadu General Secretary Elangovan had filed a petition in the Chennai First Civil Court seeking a ban on the use of the elephant symbol from the Bahujan Samaj flag on the TAVEKA flag.
In the reply filed by TAVEKA General Secretary N. Anand regarding this matter, it has been said that this petition filed by hiding many information is not suitable for investigation. There is no connection of any kind between the flag of Bahujan Samaj Party and the flag of TAVEKA. The flag of TAVEKA has been designed keeping in mind the party’s policies, principles and future plan for the development of Tamil Nadu.
There are many variations between the single elephant in the Bahujan Samaj Party flag and the double elephant flying all the time in the TAVEKA flag. The flag of TAVEKA has been designed with uniqueness. It was not made to confuse voters, therefore, it is said that this petition should be dismissed with a fine.
The case was heard in the Chennai Civil Court on Wednesday. At that time, advocate P. Anandan, appearing for the Bahujan Samaj Party, argued that would parties like DMK and AIADMK allow us to use symbols like Udaya Suryan, Anna and Kai in other party flags, just as our party symbol elephant is used in the Thaveka flag? He argued that no other party can use our national symbol elephant in any form.
After this, the judge adjourned the hearing of the case till July 1. On that day, the judge ordered Thaveka general secretary Pussy Anand to give an explanation in this regard.
