Newly married couple jumps from moving bus, wife dies

Sirohi. Seeing the Siro relative, the loving couple jumped from the moving bus. In the accident, the girlfriend died on the spot, while the boyfriend was seriously injured. After running away from home, both of them got married in Arya Samaj temple 5 days ago. The matter is of Abu Road RIICO area of Sirohi. Abu Road RICO police station officer Suresh Choudhary said – Hanumanaram (25), son of Shantilal Garg, resident of Mithana, Bera Ras Chandna, Bagra, Jalore and Pooja Kumari (22), daughter of Kuiyaram Garg, resident of Meghwala Ka Bas, Bishangarh, Jalore. Ran away from home and went to Ahmedabad. I was married. Both of them had left by bus coming from Ahmedabad to Jalore on Sunday night. A relative was also coming in the same bus. Both of them got scared after seeing him. At around 3:20 am on Monday morning, near Chandravati of Abu Road Rico police station area on National Highway-27, both of them opened the window and jumped from the seat together. Both were lying on the roadside. No one in the bus was aware of his jumping. For this reason the bus did not stop at the spot. Transport department officials were passing through the highway during night patrolling. He saw that both of them were lying on the roadside in injured condition. The officials immediately informed the Abu Road RIICO police. As soon as the information was received, Sub-Inspector Kanaram Seervi reached the spot. SI Kanaram said- Both the injured were taken to Abu Road District Hospital in a private vehicle.

Here the doctors declared Pooja dead. Kanaram told that two screen touch mobiles were found broken from both of them, out of which one mobile was in working condition. Both were identified from the identity cards found with Hanumanaram and Pooja. The certificate for marriage in Arya Samaj temple on January 10, 2024 has also been received. Pooja’s maternal uncle Jabararam resident of Mithana, Bera Ras Chandna, Bagra, Jalore was contacted on mobile. After this, complete information about both was available. Jabraram told- My niece was missing from home. The family members were searching for him. When Jabararam talked to Bhuparam, head constable of Bishangarh police station, he told that a missing report of Pooja Kumari has also been registered. Investigating officer Head Constable Bhuparam from Bishangarh informed the family members of Pooja and Hanumanram about the matter. The family came to CHC Abu Road. Pooja’s postmortem was done. Injured Hanumanram is not in a position to give statement. Pooja’s maternal uncle Jabararam told – Pooja is my real sister’s daughter. He doesn’t have a father. I have done all the upbringinging myself. Our relative had told my sister on phone that Pooja was coming to Jalore from Ahmedabad. Relatives were also traveling in the same bus in which Pooja was also travelling. As soon as the information was received, two constables from Jabararam and Bishangarh police stations were coming from the front. When Pooja and Hanumanaram got wind of this, they jumped from the window.
