Mumbai: A new Indian family drama titled ‘Family Aaj Kal’ has been announced. The show will air on Sony Liv on April 3. According to a statement, ‘Family Aaj Kal’ is based on the bustling backdrop of Delhi. The show promises to take viewers “on an emotional rollercoaster through the ups and downs of family life.”
Apoorva Arora, Sonali Sachdev, late Nitish Pandey, Akshar Singh, Prakhar Singh and Masood Akhtar star in the show, which is produced by Civic Studios’ Anushka Shah. Talking about the show, Apoorva Arora said, “Being a part of Family Aaj Kal gives me an opportunity to shed light on an important but often ignored aspect of modern family life. Playing a character like Meher is a great opportunity for me to connect with the audience. It’s a great opportunity to connect with them as they reflect on their daily lives. I’m excited for the audience to meet Meher and her imperfect family.” ‘Family Aaj Kal’ is written by Manoj Kalwani and directed by Parikshit Joshi. (ANI)
