New Delhi: Retired senior bureaucrat Navneet Kumar Sehgal has been appointed Chairman of Prasar Bharati Board. This information was given in an official order on Saturday. The order issued by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting states that Sehgal’s appointment as Chairman of the Prasar Bharati Board is for three years or till the age of 70 years. “The terms and conditions of his appointment will be governed by the provisions of the Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India) Act, 1990 and the rules made thereunder,” it said. It is noteworthy that Sehgal had retired in July 2023.
