Nagaland: A Block Level Coordination Committee (BLCC)-cum-Convergence Camp was held on March 3rd at the Council Hall in Khrimtomi village. The program was organized by the Nagaland State Rural Livelihoods Mission (NSRLM), RD Block, Akuhaito.
During the BLCC meeting, AC-SISD, Hukiye Chishi, presented an overview of the VPRP Entitlement Plan, while AC-Lds, Itokali G. Yeptho, shared the Livelihoods Plan. Demands identified and raised by community cadres at the village level were presented to officials from various line departments. The meeting emphasized the importance of convergence and coordinated efforts between departments to effectively meet the community’s entitlements and livelihood aspirations.
Following the meeting, a Convergence Camp was held where various line departments directly served SHG members and beneficiaries. Departments that actively participated included Land Resources, DHFW, UCO Bank, Veterinary and Animal Husbandry, and Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK). During the camp, coffee plants, mixed vegetable seeds, and peanut seeds were distributed to beneficiaries. Health check-ups and health card enrollments were conducted, as well as animal vaccinations and poultry chicks were distributed.
