Muslim youth arrested for keeping Hindu name for live-in relationship

Surat: Surat Police has arrested a Muslim youth, who had kept a Hindu name and found a rented house to live in a live-in relationship with a Hindu girl. The accused had prepared fake documents to create a Hindu identity, including Aadhaar card, PAN card and driving license.

According to police sources, the name of the accused is Mosibul alias Raj alias Pradeep Maqbool Sheikh, who originally hails from Bardhaman in West Bengal. He was working in Surat for 14 years and one and a half years ago he met a Hindu girl from Mumbai. Their friendship gradually turned into love and he was thinking of marrying her.
