Meerut. Police raided several places today to arrest the attackers who beat to death the son of a retired inspector in the Thana Medical area adjacent to the city. Let us tell you that on Sunday night, some people beat up the 40-year-old son of a retired inspector in the Thana Medical area and seriously injured him. The injured was admitted to the hospital. Where he died. The deceased was identified as Vimal Tyagi, an engineer in a telecom company. The reason for the incident is being told to be a dispute over money transactions as well as personal enmity of the deceased with the attackers. The police have taken the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. After the murder of the youth, there is an uproar among the family members. SP City Ayush Vikram Singh says that a case has been registered and the accused are being searched.
According to SP City, the incident took place near Nutrima Hospital in Thana Medical area on Sunday night. The family members told the police that some people called Vimal Tyagi from his house and took him away last night. These people have been accused of Vimal’s murder. On the basis of the complaint, the police registered a murder case against five accused and raided their possible hiding places to arrest them. But, the accused could not be caught. The deceased’s father Pramod Tyagi told that at the time of the incident, he was passing by the spot when he saw that some people were beating his son badly. Seeing this, he immediately shouted and ran to save his son. As soon as I reached there, the attackers fled from the spot. It is being told that Vimal had got married for the second time 3 years ago after divorcing his first wife.
