A delegation from Mongolia, which visited several Buddhist pilgrimage sites in India, has praised India for promoting peace through spirituality that can help resolve ongoing wars and conflicts in the world. Led by the 7th Naro Bunchen Rinpoche, head of the Naro Bunchen Trust and founder of Naropa Monastery, the delegation met Indian Buddhist scholars and officials of the International Buddhist Confederation (IBC) in New Delhi. The 40-member Mongolian delegation includes artists, journalists, businessmen, anthropologists, historians and others. Naropa Rinpoche told ANI, “We have many things to learn from India. It is peaceful, calm and very tolerant of each other. Naropa Rinpoche said, “The upcoming Global Buddhist Conference, I am expecting to be very beneficial as Buddhism teaches us that happiness must come from within. Although we have many materialistic advances that make our lives very comfortable but They cannot guarantee a happy life. So this symposium is going to discuss the good of the world and how Buddhist wisdom and tradition can help us solve the struggles and problems we face.” Jangchup Choeden Rinpoche, Deputy Secretary General of the IBC, said, “India and Mongolia have had strong ties for a long time. Naropa Rinpoche has been to India with a delegation and visited several Buddhist spiritual sites in the country.
