Durg. Hasan Khan, accused of wrongdoing with cows in the district, has been arrested by the police. A CCTV footage of the accused had gone viral, in which he was doing dirty acts with the cattle. After the video went viral, activists of the Hindu organization started protesting against it. They had gheraoed the Jamul police station demanding the arrest of the accused. After this the police swung into action and arrested the accused within 24 hours and sent him to jail.
According to the information received from the Jamul police, the matter pertains to the Housing Board Colony under the police station area. Firoz Khan and his family members have been living here for the last three-four years by taking two-three houses. His relative named Hasan Khan had come to these people from Delhi to sell clothes. On the night of last 24th June, he did a wrong act with a stray cow.
His entire act was captured in the CCTV camera. When people saw this in the CCTV footage, they showed it to BJP leaders on Monday. After this the matter got heated. The people of BJP, BJYM and Bajrang Dal unitedly started protesting against it. They gheraoed the Jamul police station and demanded the arrest of the accused. As soon as people came to know about this, a large number of people of Hindu organizations came out in protest. BJP District President Brijesh Bichpuria along with his office bearers and workers also reached Jamul police station and laid siege to the police station. The people of the Hindu organization also reached in large numbers and surrounded the house of the accused. Seeing the matter escalating, the police force was immediately called from the cantonment and Supela police stations. IPS Prabhat Kumar and CSP Cantonment Ashish Banchor himself took command of the case and arrested the accused.
