Manne Krishank: Congress took Anganwadi workers’ phone money.

BRS leader Manne Krishank alleged that Revanth Reddy had even scammed mobile phones in the state in connection with the Women and Child Welfare Department. The central government had decided many years ago to provide smartphones to all Anganwadi sisters under the central government’s Poshan Abhiyan scheme. For that, the price has been increasing.

The central government decided that each mobile phone would be for Anganwadi workers. Rs. 11,800 for one device. They go door to door and collect data in their respective bastis. To increase this technology, a smart phone scheme is being provided under the Poshan Abhiyan.
He alleged that the state Congress government planned to give away thousands of crores, lands, HILT, Musi Lakh 50 thousand crores, Gandhi statue not Rs. 5 thousand crores, but in the end, if the Anganwadi workers also get money, they will simply pocket Rs. 20 crores. It is so outrageous that today all the sisters working in Anganwadis across the state are coming out on the roads and asking the government to pay us salaries.. When we are not getting salaries, the Congress government has even swallowed the money that the Central government is giving them for smartphones.

Samsung A06 mobile with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage costs Rs.8,249, but the Congress government scammed it by saying Rs.11,650. The minister gave a tender for 38,130 smartphones to Anganwadi sisters in the Seethakka branch for Rs.54 crore. When we questioned him, only Rs.44 crore was spent on the phones. They say that the remaining Rs.10 crore is for the maintenance of the phones. It is not clear what the maintenance cost of the phones is.. Manne Krishank alleged that a scam of Rs.10 crore was made here.
They said that they took Rs.54 crore from the central government and spent only Rs.24 crore. They were furious and asked if the Revanth Reddy government had any shame in scamming even Anganwadi women by giving out-dated mobile phones.
