Material :
-1 cup gram flour
-1 cup curd
-1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
-2 tbsp semolina
-1 teaspoon turmeric powder
-2 tbsp oil
- to taste salt
-1/4 tsp sugar water (as needed)
- To make Dhokla batter, add gram flour, turmeric powder, oil, curd, sugar, salt and water in a bowl. Mix everything together and keep it aside for 10-15 minutes.
- Now add baking soda to the batter and mix well
- Place the batter in a steamer and cook it with the help of steam for 15-20 minutes.
- Now heat oil in a pan for tempering. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chillies and asafoetida, sugar and water. Close the lid and turn off the gas.
- Now garnish the dhokla with this tadka and fresh coriander leaves. Sour Meetha Dhokla is ready.
