Ingredients (Healthy Dinner Oats Soup Ingredients)

Oats – ½ cup.

Butter – 1 tbsp.

Garlic – 1 tbsp. finely chopped
Ginger – 1 tbsp. finely chopped
Carrot – 1 cup. chopped
Beans – 1 cup chopped
Onion – 2 tbsp.
Green chilli – 1 tbsp. chopped
Water – 2 glasses
Salt – ½ tbsp.
Black pepper powder – ½ tbsp.
Lemon juice – 1 tbsp.
Instructions
Roast the oats in a pan on low to medium flame till it turns light in colour.
Add butter in a pan, when it melts add ginger and garlic pieces and saute.
Add whatever vegetables you have, in our recipe we have added less vegetables like beans and carrot.
Add onion to the vegetables and cover with a lid and cook for some time.
Add green chilli, roasted oats and water and mix well.
Sprinkle black pepper powder and salt, mix and cover and cook for 5 minutes. If you want to make it a little spicy then add cumin seeds and green chillies to it.
Generally, oats get cooked quickly, once you put it on the flame for a good consistency then you get the desired consistency add lemon juice and few drops of lemon extract.
