500 grams khoya
-175 grams flour
-1/2 tsp cooking soda
-5 grams cardamom powder
-2 1/2 kg jaggery
-1 1/2 liters of water
Method :
- Knead a dough using khoya, plain flour, cardamom powder, cooking soda and water.
- Make small balls out of it.
- Heat the oil in a pan, when the oil becomes hot, put the flour balls in it and fry them.
- Fry it slowly till it turns golden brown.
- On the other side make jaggery syrup.
- After the balls turn golden brown, take them out of the oil and put them in the sugar syrup.
- Check the consistency and serve hot garnished with pistachios.
