Kerala: Major fire at Akrikada in Ernakulam Kakkanad near Chembukkam. The fire brigade has brought the fire under control. The cause of the fire is not clear. The incident occurred around 10 am. The institution operates in a large residential area near Mary Mata School.
There is no major cause for concern at the moment as it does not operate a Sunday school. Residents have been evacuated from the area as smoke has been rising from the area. Information has emerged that this Akrikada warehouse has been operating without a license for the last seven years in the area under Thrikkakara Municipality.
