Ludhiana: Two minor girls went missing in two incidents. In the first incident, Rakesh Kumar of Bhagat Singh Nagar complained that his 15-year-old daughter left home on August 25 but has not returned since then. The complainant alleged that Robin of Guru Amardas Nagar locality allegedly kidnapped his daughter after luring her on the pretext of marriage. Police have arrested the suspect and are investigating the case.
In the second case, a 13-year-old girl went missing from her house in Mahindra Colony, Moti Nagar. The girl’s mother complained to Moti Nagar police that her daughter was missing when she returned home from work on August 27. She searched for her at several places, but to no avail. The complainant suspects that someone has kidnapped her daughter. Police have registered a case against an unknown person.
