The scope of stormy activity may also reach parts of East Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha. However, this weather system on March 20 may lead to evacuation of parts of Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha and Madhya Pradesh.
But, its reach is likely to extend to Bihar and North Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Crop damage due to hailstorm: Unseasonal weather activity is expected to be accompanied by lightning and strong gusty winds. Hailstorm damaging the standing crops in the region is likely to occur at many places, being more severe over Chhattisgarh, Odisha and West Bengal. In some areas, inclement weather and dangerous conditions are expected mostly during the evening and night.
