John Abraham said- ‘The film brought back glory to the industry’

Mumbai: As Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Pathan’, the biggest blockbuster of 2023, completes a year of its theatrical release, actor John Abraham says he has fond memories of the film in which he plays the role. About the antagonist who received immense love and appreciation from the audience.
The actor said, “The anniversary of Pathan will always be nostalgic for me personally and for the Hindi film industry because it was the film that bounced us back as an industry.”
“This film brought back a lot of respect and glory to the industry. It changed the perception, spirit and journey ahead of the Hindi film industry. Just look at what the film industry did with ‘Pathan’ to give the biggest year ever in cinema. How did you come back with that!”
John expressed his gratitude for the love and support he received for his performance in ‘Pathan’.
He said, “Because of this, I will always have very fond memories of ‘Pathan’ because this industry is my home. The love I have received for ‘Pathan’ is incredible. Playing the role of an anti-hero and heart “Winning is a very special feeling.”

The actor also shared his desire to be a part of Aditya Chopra’s famous YRF spy universe.
He said, “I hope to continue to be a part of this YRF Spy universe and enthrall you all with my art and passion for cinema.”
Directed by Siddharth Anand, ‘Pathan’, which released on January 25, also stars Deepika Padukone in the lead role. Apart from the “Seeti Maar” dialogues and high-octane action sequences, it is Salman Khan’s extended cameo as Tiger that made the film more special.
After a tough few years, SRK made a spectacular comeback in 2023 and silenced his detractors with his work.
Shahrukh returned to the silver screen in January with Siddharth Anand’s ‘Pathan’. Shahrukh donned an action avatar in the film and surprised everyone.
The film broke many records at the box office and managed to register its name in the list of one of the highest-grossing films in the Indian film industry.
