JMM general secretary Vinod Pandey described the suspension of the MLAs as an “attack on democracy”.

100 Lok Sabha MPs and 46 Rajya Sabha MPs were suspended for unruly behaviour, disruption of process and displaying placards and signs in connection with the security breach on December 13 during the recently concluded winter session of Parliament.
The opposition demanded a statement from Union Home Minister Amit Shah on the security breach when two men jumped into the Lok Sabha chamber from the public gallery and opened bottles, emitting yellow smoke.
