Darbhanga. Precious jewelery of Kameshwar Religious Trust, run by the royal family in Darbhanga, Bihar, had gone missing from the SBI’s bolt. In this regard, Kapileshwar Singh, grandson of Darbhanga Maharaj Sir Kameshwar Singh, had given written information in the University Police Station. In such a situation, as soon as the application was received, Darbhanga Police took immediate action and detained Trust Managers Vishnu Kumar Mishra and Uday Nath Jha and interrogated them. Where on the behest of the accused, gold businessman Shatrughan Lal was arrested and the missing goods were confiscated.
At the same time, Kumar Kapileshwar Singh, grandson of Kameshwar Singh, said in his application that the jewelery kept in the said bolt was removed and sold by conspiracy by Udayanath Jha alias Vishnu, the aton of Maharani Kamasundari Devi and Kedarnath Mishra, manager of Kameshwar Religious Trust and others. Besides, information has also been received that the said incident had taken place 15 to 20 days ago.

Kameshwar Singh’s grandson Kumar Kapileshwar Singh said in his application that according to the biology of the Kameshwar Religious Trust, if the trust, whose sole trustee is the Queen at present, does not carry out the trust work properly, then any member of the royal family will be liable for the damages. Responsibility can be given to the male member. Under this rule, I am informing the district administration about the above mentioned things. So that the valuable jewelery of the Gods and Goddesses can be recovered and the culprits can be given appropriate punishment.
While talking to the media, Kumar Kapileshwar Singh said that we have a trust, which was formed by Sir Kameshwar Singh. Inside this, 108 temples have been built all over the world. Inside which there is a temple, pond, land and ornaments. Which was kept in the locker of SBI by the trustees of the trust. I came to know that the manager and Uday Nath Jha had opened the locker, taken out the jewelery and sold it.
Meanwhile, Sadar SDPO Amit Kumar said that a case has been registered in the University police station by Kapileshwar Singh of Darbhanga royal family. Whose case number is 34/24. It has been told in the application that the manager of the trust had fraudulently removed jewelery worth crores of rupees from the bank locker and sold it illegally. After which action was taken and three people were arrested.
“Taking cognizance of the matter, an inquiry was conducted. Where raids were conducted while carrying out technical research. A large quantity of goods have been recovered within an hour of the case being registered. Also a goldsmith has been detained. Just now 3 people have been arrested. The remaining matter is being investigated.”
