Jail guard left the scam accused in a hotel, suspended

Roshan Chandrakar, accused of custom milling scam in Chhattisgarh, was taken out by the police on the pretext of treatment and allowed to stay in the hotel for 5 hours. chhattisgarh news When the accused Roshan Chandrakar was meeting his wife and others in the hotel, the jail guard took the accused’s children to Pandri City Center Mall and kept roaming around himself. He was wearing a T-shirt over his uniform.

After DG Jail got information about this case, he reprimanded the officials of Raipur Central Jail and suspended jail guard Lakhan Jaiswal who took the accused out of the jail. DG Jail Rajesh Mishra has instructed all the jail superintendents of the state to take immediate action on such cases. The DG has ordered that strict action should be taken against the policemen and jail guards for providing illegal facilities to the prisoners while taking them for hearing and treatment.
