Public Relations Webdesk | As we all are well aware of the relationship between age and health. Despite knowing this, we do not pay attention to it and act carelessly. Sometimes our good food and comfortable lifestyle completely spoil the relationship between these two. Which affects our health very fast. Day by day, along with increasing age, health also starts to decline and in which even a little carelessness can give rise to many new diseases. If there we pay attention to this, we can reduce the effects of old age problems to a great extent.
With increasing age, the organs of the body also become weak, due to which the problems related to the digestive system are also very troubling to the elderly. Constipation, gas in the stomach and heartburn are the main problems that they usually face. One of the main reasons for these problems is that due to the weakness of the teeth and jaws, the elderly are unable to chew properly, due to which the necessary electrolytes that help in digesting food are not formed in their saliva.
With increasing age, the problem of breathing also increases. Due to which elderly people keep their mouth open while eating food. Due to which air also enters inside along with food. Due to which the speed of functioning of intestines slows down. Apart from this, there is a one-way valve between our food pipe and intestine, which opens only in one direction. With age, this valve becomes loose and it starts opening on both sides. Due to this, some food goes inside the intestines and some comes back outside. Due to these reasons, the elderly have problems like frequent belching and indigestion.
For this, it is necessary to drink more water and eat fiber-rich things like oatmeal, oats, papaya, pomegranate, guava, fruits like apple and orange regularly. It is very important to stay away from oily food and junk food. Make it a habit to walk for some time after drinking a good amount of water even before going to the toilet in the morning. With this you will not need to apply pressure.
