Indravati Bhawan employees staged a protest.

Raipur. Employees at the Directorate (Indravati Bhawan) protested by wearing black bands and demanding two points. They also threatened to close the Directorate if their demands were not met. Jai Kumar Sahu, President of the Chhattisgarh Directorate Government Employees Union, stated, “Our demand is that entry passes be issued for entry into the Ministry. Directorate employees should be paid an allowance similar to the Ministry.”

He stated that a memorandum was previously submitted regarding these two points. Since no hearing has been received, the agitation is now continuing in a phased manner. Peaceful protests have been held with black bands since November 20, 2025. Protests with black bands will begin during lunch hours from November 26.

Jai Kumar stated that a rally will be held from the Directorate to the Ministry on December 3rd. A one-day mass holiday will be taken on December 10th to protest. As per the union’s decision, the outline for the upcoming agitation is ready. The Directorate will also be closed.
