New Delhi: The India Alliance is preparing for a big demonstration at the BJP headquarters on DDU Marg on Friday in protest against the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. In view of this, the police has diverted the traffic. Additional police force has been deployed. Due to the protest, people going towards New Delhi station will have to face jams as well as other problems. India Alliance has organized a Maharally at Ramlila Maidan on Sunday. Before that, the alliance wants to show its strength by taking to the streets today. India Alliance will protest at the BJP headquarters on DDU Marg at 12 noon on Friday against the arrest of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Party leaders claim that this will be a huge demonstration, apart from Aam Aadmi Party, leaders and workers of Congress and Left parties will also participate in it. Besides, senior leaders, officials and workers of some other constituent parties of India Alliance present in Delhi can also join the protest. Through this demonstration, India Alliance will also try to corner BJP on the issue of electoral bonds. The protest will also show how much coordination has improved between the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi after the arrest of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Traffic in New Delhi and Central Delhi is also likely to be affected due to the protest. Police will stop the protesters from reaching BJP headquarters. For this, vehicles going on DDU route from ITO and Minto Road will be diverted to other routes, due to which people may have to face problems. Especially, those who have to go to New Delhi Railway Station via Ajmeri Gate or Paharganj or have to catch the Airport Metro from New Delhi to go to the airport, may have to face traffic jams.
