While chasing a massive total of 357 runs set by the hosts, the England team were all out at 214 runs (34.2 overs). The top scorers of India’s innings were S. Gill (112), Kohli (52), S. Iyer (78) and Rahul (40).
Even though the England’s opening batters scored 60 in 6.1 overs, the team could not carry forward the momentum of the innings and collapsed at runs. This is the third consecutive defeat faced by the visitors in this ODI series. The Indian side has won the series by 3-0.
