The ranking was prepared based on page views of more than 250 million monthly visitors worldwide. However, it is noteworthy that not a single director from Telugu has made it to the list. Director Mohit Suri, who scored a super hit with Saiyaraa, topped the list of most popular directors this year. Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, who made his debut with Bads of Bollywood, came in second place this year. Lokesh Kanagaraj, who scored a good success with the movie Coolie, came in third place. Anurag Kashyap, who scored a hit with Nishanchi, came in fourth place. Prithviraj Sukumaran, who scored a hit with the movie L2 Empuraan, came in fifth place. Director R.S. Prasanna, who scored a super hit with Aamir Khan like Sitare Zameen Par, came in sixth place. Anurag Basu, who scored a seventh place with Metro In Dino, came in seventh place. Director Dominic Arun, who scored a blockbuster with the Malayalam film Kothala Loka, came in eighth place, while Chava director Laxman Utekar came in 9th place, and Neeraj Ghaywan came in 10th place with the film Home Bound.
