 Former Minister and MLA Harish Rao said that BC residential schools came after KCR became CM. Harish Rao participated in a program to distribute blankets to students at Chintamadaka BC Residential School in Siddipet Rural Mandal.

Speaking on this occasion, Harish Rao said.. .. Before KCR became the CM, there were only 16 BC Gurukuls in the state.. After KCR came, they were increased to 350. KCR started 50 percent BC Gurukuls for girls.. He said that all BC Gurukuls were upgraded to intermediate. KCR revealed that he brought 35 BC residential degree colleges.
