Hyderabad: Man consumed poison, dies at Osmania General Hospital

Hyderabad: A plumber committed suicide at his home in Yakutpura on Tuesday night due to financial crisis. Syed Hassan Haider (40) lived with his wife in Yakutpura under Reen Bazar police station area.

According to the police, Haider consumed a soft drink mixed with some poisonous substance on Tuesday evening. He was rushed to Osmania General Hospital, where he died of poisoning the same night.

Haider’s family members told the police that he was depressed due to personal and financial problems and this may have led him to take this step. Reen Bazar police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
