Rajim. It has been raining continuously for the last 24 hours in Rajim of Chhattisgarh, due to which the life of the people has become chaotic. Roads, streets, localities, government offices and houses have been waterlogged. Water has also flooded in front of Fingeshwar’s BRCC office, hospital premises and district office, which has exposed the government arrangements. Along with this, the water level in small river drains is also increasing. It is raining heavily in many areas including Fingeshwar, Rajim, Nawapara, Abhanpur and Arang.
The people of the state have got respite from the heat due to incessant rains, but there are many areas where life has become disturbed due to heavy rains. This series of rain is not going to stop yet. It is going to rain in many areas of the state in the coming two-three days. For this, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert. The administration has appealed to the people to be alert. People have been asked not to take support of trees to avoid rain. There is also a possibility of strong thunderstorms. A warning of lightning has also been issued along with thunder.
