A grand `Gurmat Samagam’ organised in the memory of Sant Gurbaksh Singh Danna was held here today.
The samagam was organised under the patronage of Sant Tejwant Singh , `Dera Mukhi’ Sant Pura Danna with the active cooperation of Joginder Singh Bali and Updesh Kour Bali (Hongkong Waley), Baldev Singh CEO Peaks, Adv Surinder Kour, Bhagri family from USA and Jeet Singh of Holand and others followers of Dera Sant Pura Danna.
On the occasion, prominent Ragi Jatha of Bhai Sahib Shub Deep Singh, Hazuri Ragi Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar was the main attraction of the Samagam.
Another prominent Ragi Jatha of Bhai Sahib Tavneet Singh of Chandigarh also graced the occasion by reciting Shabd Kirtan.
Local prominent Ragi Jathas who recited Shabd Kirtan were Bhai Sahib Davinder Singh, Bhai Sahib Kulwant Singh, Bhai Sahib Jagr Singh, Hazuri Ragi Gurudwara Sant Pura Danna, Bhai Bahadur Singh, Bhai Sahib Charanpreet Singh, Bhai Sahib Gian Singh , Bhai Sahib Gurmit Singh, Bhai Sahib Suraj Singh Hazuri Ragi Gurudwara Shaheed Bunga Srinagar, Bhai Sahib Surinder pal Singh, Bhai Sahib Ramneek Singh and Bhai Sahib Paramvir Singh.
The programme was organised with the cooperation of various Sikh organisations, Noujwan Sabhas and Sikh Sangat of JKUT.
Among others who participated the samagam included Charant Singh Khalsa former MLC, J.P Singh retd. Inspector general of Police J&K, Raman Bhalla Ex- Minister, Tarant Singh Tony DDC member, Balvinder Singh renowned Social Activist and Vice president DGPC Jammu, Avtar Singh Member DGPC Jammu and Paramt ex-Corporator etc.
