Badaun: The bike of the groom, who was returning home after seven rounds of a mass marriage program in Bisauli, Badaun, went out of control and collided with a tractor trolley laden with potatoes. In the horrific accident, the groom’s body was broken into two pieces due to which he died on the spot. At the same time, the groom’s mother sitting behind on the bike was also injured. The accident happened near the police post in Bisauli on Wednesday. Jitendra (25), a resident of Chandpur Nithaya of Islamnagar police station area, got married on Thursday in a mass marriage program held at Madanlal Inter College, Bisauli. Jitendra had taken seven rounds with a girl from Jalalpur village.
After the marriage, Jitendra was taking Anardei home on a bike. At the same time, the bride was also going to her home on another bike. Meanwhile, Jitendra’s bike went out of control on Islamnagar-Kuthauli road in Bisauli and collided with a potato laden tractor-trolley passing by. Due to this, Jitendra along with the bike got stuck in the hitch part of the tractor-trolley. In the accident, the youth died on the spot while the youth’s mother Anardei was injured.
Priyanka, wife of deceased Jitendra, who tied the knot in a mass marriage program, would go to her in-laws’ house after three months in the month of Ashadh, after Gaune’s departure. After the death of her husband in an accident, all her happiness and golden dreams turned into mourning. There was an uproar in both the families. In the courtyard where the beat of the drum was heard, the sound of crying and screaming was heard. Within a few hours of getting married, Priyanka became a widow.
Priyanka, daughter of Amar Singh Jatav, resident of Jalalpur village of Kotwali area, was married to Jitendra, son of Jaswant Jatav, resident of Chandpur Nithaya village of Islamnagar police station area. The marriage ceremony of both the newlyweds was performed today in the Chief Minister’s mass marriage ceremony at Madan Lal Inter College in the city. At the same time, it was agreed in both the families that Gauna’s farewell ceremony with a feast and a band-baaj should be held in the month of Ashadh, June.
Therefore, after the marriage ceremony in a mass marriage, the groom Jitendra left for his village Chandpur Nithaya and the bride left for her village Jalalpur. In the cruel hands of time, while trying to save another bike a stone’s throw away from the Budhbazar police station on Bilsi Islamnagar road, the bike of the deceased groom Jitendra got crushed into pieces by a tractor full of potatoes. Due to which the bike rider groom Jitendra died on the spot. Groom Jitendra’s mother Anardei was injured. As soon as Priyanka and her family came to know about this incident, she fell down. In the courtyard of the house, the beat of the dholak in the auspicious song stopped and the chaos started.
